Card Series

An ongoing passion project that reimagines the 52 standard deck of cards from a historical and feminist perspective. I analyze the archival context, cultural variations, and cartomantic symbolism to interpret each individual card. Moreover, I explore methods of producing art multiples of the series across various mediums.
